We have no sign-up, no login and no user profile, so we do not know your name, your email or who you are. We hold no database of users.
To sell and restore subscriptions the app uses two services, RevenueCat and Superwall. They receive an anonymous, randomly generated identifier for your install, your device model and iOS version, your country, and whether your subscription is active. That identifier is not linked to your name, your email or your Apple ID, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites. We use it for one thing: knowing whether to unlock the paid features.
To build your plan, Kukio saves your answers and your week in a single file inside the app's private storage on your iPhone. That file holds:
This never leaves your iPhone. We cannot read it, and neither RevenueCat nor Superwall receives any of it. Your recipes, your budget and your allergies are not sent anywhere.
Two, both only for subscriptions:
No advertising networks. No social logins. We do not use the Advertising Identifier and the app does not ask permission to track you, because it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
The only third party involved is Apple, who distributes the app. Apple may collect its own download and usage statistics under Apple's privacy policy, independently of us. If you choose to leave a rating, that goes to Apple, not to us.
Kukio is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects nothing and transmits nothing, there is no children's data for us to hold or delete.
Delete the app. iOS removes the app's storage with it, which erases your plan, your list and your preferences. There is no account to close.
To have the anonymous subscription identifier deleted from RevenueCat and Superwall, email us and we will action it.
Recipe nutrition figures and allergen labels in Kukio are estimates derived from ingredient lists, and grocery prices are approximate and change often. Brands and formulations vary, so if you have a food allergy, always read the label on what you actually buy. Kukio is not medical or dietary advice.
If the app ever starts collecting anything, we will update this page before that version ships and change the date at the top. Given the app has no networking today, any such change would be a deliberate future decision, not a silent one.
